Test of a permanent magnet non-scaling FFA section with fixed tunes A non-scaling FFA arc with fixed tunes was designed by Dejan Trbojevic to cover the energy range 10-250MeV for protons, for application in a rapid-cycling FLASH hadron therapy facility. Permanent magnets have been designed and manufactured to construct a 4-cell test section, which was tested between 50 and 250MeV at the NSRL beamline at BNL. The permanent magnets contain fields up to 1.85 Tesla. Design of the magnets and initial results from this test section will be presented, along with options to scale the FFA arc to different energy ranges.
