mcclearyironman 2002-07-27 17:44:29 | I just downloded the new Muon V4.2 and I tried to start up the muon_background but this message kept appearing, and it says has done something illegal, I restarted to see if that would fix it, but it didnt: MUON1_BACKGROUND caused an invalid page fault in module MUON1_BACKGROUND.EXE at 0167:004049d0. mcclearyironman 2002-07-27 18:21:46 | I think it had something to do with the Auto-save feature or the crarrary file as soon as i deleted them it worked fine. but I think if i shutdown and then restart the background it will show the illegal message again. |

mcclearyironman 2002-07-28 18:17:33 | Yes. I did transfer over the user.txt. file |
Stephen Brooks 2002-07-29 02:39:48 | config.txt allows you to switch off autosave if you think that is causing the problem. Might be worth trying. Bluumi [SwissTeam.NET] 2002-07-29 14:12:20 | May it be, that the Client crash if he is in a "pointed" Directory? My Client on Win98 crash allways ... after i delete it again, unzip again in a other directoryName it work. First time it was "c:\muon4.2" (Crash) than i unpack in "c:\muon42" now it work.... is this a problem of the Client or was the first unpack action goes wrong .... Serious .. |
Stephen Brooks 2002-07-30 01:52:23 | I've tried extracting a copy of 4.2 to a directory named "muon1v4.2". So far it doesn't seem to have crashed. One thing I have to ask is whether your PC is overclocked, as Muon1 will find any problems with overclocking if there are any.
