Would someone mind giving me IP's for all servers that are currently being used for the muon project? I think most of them are static IP's and therefor would work, but a couple of the servers are dynamic IP's and therefore won't do you any good to put thier IP in your firewall settings as it might be different a week or 2 down the road. |

| [TA]JonB 2004-08-27 20:17:10 | yes, some may be dynamic, but the odds are they'll keep the same class C subnet. For example, www.stephenbrooks.org is 63.251.4.188 right now, and you could put it as 63.251.4.x and be pretty safe. Turns out I 'set network range' then enter xxx.xxx.xxx.1 to xxx.xxx.xxx.255 in order to get the job done...Winroute Pro Feel alot better now. Once i've tested it I'll batten down the firewall Wrote a rule to log the communications from muon1 client and sure enough the first one in your list is the one I hit. Thanks for the help. |
