Stephen Brooks 2002-09-03 08:43:06 | Erm, I accidentally deleted the old thread while trying to delete a single message off the end of it (which was about mallards and should have been in the mallards forum). To keep things tidy I'll probably delete requests from this thread too, but only after I've resolved them. wirthi [Free-DC] 2002-09-07 14:34:53 | Hi, don't you get tired of manually transfering all these usernames to other ones? If not, could you please add the stats of "wirthi" to the new "wirthi [Free-DC.org]". Thanks! |
Stephen Brooks 2002-09-12 13:36:58 | OK, done. |
Zonar 2002-09-13 06:23:18 | Hello Could you please merge Thorin and [DPC]Thorin in the latter one The link used for dpc (dpc.dk) goes to some danish site about polar research. The proper link is www.dutchpowercows.org. Thorin |
Murph 2002-09-13 09:58:19 | Hello Stephen Could you please merge Murph [Projekt X],Michi [Projekt X] to Murph [www.rechenkraft.net]. Its allways the same person, me. Thanks. Murph |
Stephen Brooks 2002-09-13 10:05:20 | This is the first cross-team name-change I've had. How do I know this isn't just an alias of Pascal[rechenkraft.net] trying to get more points? (No offence intended to either party..) Thorin's namechange is done. |

Stephen Brooks 2002-09-13 15:37:27 | OK, you've convinced me. Expect to see those accounts merged in the near future. Will I have to get rid of team "Projekt X" now? [SG] fj 2002-09-22 14:11:39 | Hi Stephen, could you please change my nick from 'fj' to '[SG] fj' ? (You won't find it within 4.x, but in 3.x. I will continue muon with V5). Thx, fj Most important conservation laws: 3rd - Momentum. 2nd - Energy. 1st - # of beer cans in the fridge (this one is obviously broken in most cases) |
Stephen Brooks 2002-09-23 02:21:12 | I'm not renaming users in previous versions. There is no point showing your team affiliation anyway, since I didn't do any team statistics for 3.x. "As every 11-year-old kid knows, if you concentrate enough Van-der-Graff generators and expensive special effects in one place, you create a spiral space-time whirly thing, AND an interesting plotline" |
[SG] fj 2002-09-24 11:54:12 | So sad The sole reason for me to ask, was, that I'ld like to have a unique handle throughout the project. Of course, I 'ld be lucky to keep mine, since i'm used to it. I know, you're working hard on v4.22, not to mention V5. But is there a chance to have a method with v5, that would allow joining a team without changing one's handle? That'll be cute fj Most important conservation laws: 3rd - Momentum. 2nd - Energy. 1st - # of beer cans in the fridge (this one is obviously broken in most cases) |
John Kitchen 2002-10-06 07:59:25 | Stephen Please merge my old name [TAM]johnfkitchen, with my new name bringing me in line with the other ARSes - [ARS]johnfkitchen. I have changed over all computers, so you should not get any more "TAM" data from me. Thanks |
Stephen Brooks 2002-10-06 11:44:08 | OK. I have now removed the [TAM]/[ARS] ambiguity for the team-stats too, so everyone else will have to be [ARS] as well. |
Lithian 2002-10-07 10:26:12 | Greetings Can i get a team added, TLUK, (Team Linux UK) Although we are a group of linux based people if and when we have spare windows boxes this is the project of choice, okay currently that is only me and my trusty winXP celeron 700 laptop but its a start, and there is a linux port in the pipe right? oh, almost forgot. The webpage is http://www.teamlinux.org.uk which is really just a placeholder until one of us can be bothered to put some more important stuff there. ta ------ Neal McMackin [TLUK] |

Stephen Brooks 2002-10-07 17:42:12 | All chickens primed and ready to fire. I, err, mean I've merged those accounts and created that team. Hydrox 2002-10-10 14:24:39 | Hello Stephen, I found some of my old Results with the acountname "Matthias Söhnholz". Can you combine Matthias Söhnholz into Hydrox [Rechnekraft.net] please? |
Stephen Brooks 2002-10-11 01:53:12 | OK, should be in the next update. "As every 11-year-old kid knows, if you concentrate enough Van-der-Graff generators and expensive special effects in one place, you create a spiral space-time whirly thing, AND an interesting plotline" |
Hydrox 2002-10-11 09:26:04 | I'm sorry but I made a misstake. Hydrox [Rechenkraft.net] should by Hydrox [www.rechenkraft.net]. Can you combine Hydrox [Rechenkraft.net] into Hydrox [www.rechenkraft.net] please? |
Markus Weigand 2002-10-14 07:33:11 | Hi! Can you change markus weigand to [PhyWue] Markus Weigand ? [PhyWue] doesnt exist right now, but is going to be the unofficial University of Wuerzburg Physics team..... |
Stephen Brooks 2002-10-14 10:29:26 | OK, done. I'll look into creating that team, too. |
Markus Weigand 2002-10-14 12:14:27 | One Question, Stephen: Is the word "Physics" correctly used in University of Wuerzburg Physics Team? My englisch isnt the best and i dont want a team with a dumb name Edit. // Btw: Can you change name to "Unofficial University of Wuerzburg Department of Physics & Astronomy Team" Sorry for the xtra work, but - the team is not official ( i do not want any of my professors to be pissed off..) - I looked at our "english" Homepage. the correct name is Department of physics & Astronomy. // |
Stephen Brooks 2002-10-14 13:33:55 | OK. |
scottsaxman 2002-10-16 14:20:10 | Stephen, I would appreciate it if you could help me join a team - [AMD Users]scottsaxman. I haven't submitted any results under the new name yet, but I will do so soon. Thanks, formerly scottsaxman soon to be [AMD Users]scottsaxman |
[DPC]TeamNWW - Huub 2002-10-18 04:44:56 | Hi, Could you please move the stats for [DPC]PendragonXIII to [DPC]TeamNWW and then remove [DPC]PendragonXIII?? A couple of friends and I decided to upload results as a sub-team name. Thanks! |
Stephen Brooks 2002-10-18 09:15:31 | OK. I won't put "TeamNWW" into the team-stats page for now since it's conceptually "a single user". If I did add it as a separate team, it would appear as a 1-person team, whose member is also a member of [DPC]. "As every 11-year-old kid knows, if you concentrate enough Van-der-Graff generators and expensive special effects in one place, you create a spiral space-time whirly thing, AND an interesting plotline" |
Markus Weigand 2002-10-19 14:15:10 | Could you please merge markus weigand and [phywue] markus weigand to [phywue] markus weigand? My dads old P2 still had an the old user.txt Sorry mfg markus weigand |
Stephen Brooks 2002-10-20 09:32:49 | OK, I've done that "As every 11-year-old kid knows, if you concentrate enough Van-der-Graff generators and expensive special effects in one place, you create a spiral space-time whirly thing, AND an interesting plotline" |
[DPC]RoyalFlusher 2002-10-22 03:52:22 | Can you please merge RoyalFlushers score into [DPC]RoyalFlusher? Thanx in advance |
Stephen Brooks 2002-10-22 07:22:41 | OK. |
mackerel 2002-10-23 16:08:33 | Wow... lots of new stuff... I need to visit more often. Please can you rename "mackerel TP" to "[TP] mackerel" Thanks. |
Stephen Brooks 2002-10-23 16:56:09 | OK no problem. BTW, Muon1 got mentioned in the following news article: http://213.219.40.69/?article=5852 "As every 11-year-old kid knows, if you concentrate enough Van-der-Graff generators and expensive special effects in one place, you create a spiral space-time whirly thing, AND an interesting plotline" |
[DPC]Bren 2002-10-24 02:46:00 | Hi Stephen, Please merge my [DPC]Bren stats into [DPC]TeamNWW. and also [DPC]TeamBaQ stats into [DPC]TeamNWW. This was a side trail...... Thanks in advance, [DPC]Bren |
Herb[Romulus2] 2002-10-24 07:10:35 | Hi, I'm new and I'm not identical to "[SG] Herb", so please don't merge, I roll up the field by myself Y0k compliant, counting upwards |
Supp 2002-10-24 08:40:07 | Could you please merge my two accounts (Supp[Free-DC] and Supp[Free-DC.org]) into latter form....? Thank you Supp rm -rf / |
Stephen Brooks 2002-10-24 09:43:49 | OK. There are also Bren and Bren@gmx.net names, but you didn't ask to have those merge so I haven't yet. "As every 11-year-old kid knows, if you concentrate enough Van-der-Graff generators and expensive special effects in one place, you create a spiral space-time whirly thing, AND an interesting plotline" |
[DPC]Bren 2002-10-24 16:11:40 | Perfect Stephen, this was precise what I meant. Thanks, [DPC]Bren |
[AMD Users]Transuranium 2002-10-25 03:53:32 | Hello Stephen, Could you please change Transuranium to [AMD Users]Transuranium Would be much appreciated if you could. Thanks, |

[ARS]TinyHelp 2002-10-26 10:15:34 | Hello Stephen, Please merge accounts TinyHelp and [ARS]TinyHelp into [ARS]TinyHelp. It took me a while to figure out how to join into a team. TinyHelp |
Herb[Romulus2] 2002-10-26 11:13:13 | Please move Herb[Rom2] into Herb[Romulus2] The latter will be also a new team request Http://www.romulus2.com This Pollock guy with [Rom2] and [Rom2} handle will come up on its own to you until he's figured out, if his winloose or linwax box will lead his pack ------------------------------- Y0k compliant, counting upwards |
Stephen Brooks 2002-10-26 18:37:45 | Done that, and added the URL for your team. "As every 11-year-old kid knows, if you concentrate enough Van-der-Graff generators and expensive special effects in one place, you create a spiral space-time whirly thing, AND an interesting plotline" |
Pollock[Romulus2] 2002-10-26 21:42:50 | I need a major name change, if possible. I finally realized that my Linux and Windows clients are running under slightly different names. The two names: Pollock[Rom2] and Pollock[Rom2} What I need to do is merge both of these names into a new one. The new name is Pollock[Romulus2] and have this name included in the Romulus2 team. Both clients have been changed to the new name in user.txt and all old results sent. All future results will be sent to Pollock[Romulus2]. |
Pollock[Romulus2] 2002-10-27 07:25:39 | Thanks, Stephen, well almost. If it can be done, I still need to merge the other two stats into the Pollock[Romulus2] handle. These are the current listings for the two strays: 437. Pollock[Rom2] 9h 529. Pollock[Rom2} 1.6d All current results are being sent to Pollock[Romulus2] and that will be the permanent handle. Hope that I haven't completely confused you! I have made a real mess of things, as usual. |
Stephen Brooks 2002-10-27 08:40:24 | OK, done. "As every 11-year-old kid knows, if you concentrate enough Van-der-Graff generators and expensive special effects in one place, you create a spiral space-time whirly thing, AND an interesting plotline" |
Pollock[Romulus2] 2002-10-27 09:15:03 | Thanks, Stephen. It looks like Linux won my contest. I hope the optimized Linux Athlon client is ready soon. You are doing a great job. Thanks, again! |
