IronBits 2006-03-20 20:24:10 | The stats seem to be down? All Optimisations Tab-separated stats list [updated 2006-Mar-19; 16:14] Any idea when you will get them back on track? I hope we (Free-DC) didn't break your server Thanks! |
Stephen Brooks 2006-03-21 04:51:51 | How about "now"? In fact, I was out from work on Monday so didn't fix it then. Funny you should say that, but it was 20060319-170454-ASgPC-DesertFolk[Free-DC.org].txt that the server got stuck on. It encountered a malformed version number in the binary file, probably just due to botched transmission. I've made the server recover more gracefully from that error now. The result came out (when translated into text) as: which as you see is a bit strange. |
IronBits 2006-03-21 07:14:21 | Thank you Stephen. |
GOD 2006-03-22 03:05:15 | It's broken again & it seems that those without teams have been awarded infinite points! I'm sure you'll sort it out |
Stephen Brooks 2006-03-22 08:13:44 | From here it looked like a user "Kevin Crawford" had been awarded a very large number of points. There was an anomaly in his file, which I've edited. Hopefully that will have sorted this out. |
IronBits 2006-03-31 19:13:16 | Did we break it again? |
Stephen Brooks 2006-04-03 03:35:09 | On Saturday, maybe... I was about to come in to fix it when it started again by itself after about 24 hours! |
n7vxj0 2006-04-03 18:14:43 | I seem to have lost several days work that was uploaded to the servers from my machines, any way to recover that info, and resubmitt it? Just an fyi, I'm on dialup, so I have to do a manual upload. |
Stephen Brooks 2006-04-05 03:14:48 | I had a look at the stats script and it seems to be fine here, so maybe one of the FTP servers is accepting results uploads but not downloads from me? Which servers are in your sendlog file, I'll see if they are responding and if not contact the webmaster. |
