HETTATLONGUN 2002-09-18 09:22:20 | Ummm..., you ought to stick a README in the muon1v421b_console folder. I knew enough to move my user.txt file into the folder, but I didn't find out about changing the number of Threads in the config.txt file until I read this message board. Heh, I wondered why I was only getting 50% processor utilisation when Threads: 2 was set on my single processor machine. Ahh, morning....Nothing like a good cigar, a cup of coffee and the sound of hot shell casings hitting the deck....HETT[TEP] |
Stephen Brooks 2002-09-18 09:54:40 | You mean the config.txt file specifies Threads:2 by default in the console package? "As every 11-year-old kid knows, if you concentrate enough Van-der-Graff generators and expensive special effects in one place, you create a spiral space-time whirly thing, AND an interesting plotline" |
wirthi [Free-DC] 2002-09-18 14:08:19 | Hi, yes, as far as I remember it does. |
Stephen Brooks 2002-09-18 14:39:44 | Arse. I shall have to change that. "As every 11-year-old kid knows, if you concentrate enough Van-der-Graff generators and expensive special effects in one place, you create a spiral space-time whirly thing, AND an interesting plotline" |
HETTATLONGUN 2002-09-18 14:55:53 | Yes. Threads: 2 was shown in the config.txt file at the time I downloaded the muon1v421b_console file. Ahh, morning....Nothing like a good cigar, a cup of coffee and the sound of hot shell casings hitting the deck....HETT[TEP] |
