spldart 2004-09-06 14:44:58 | I found some wierd files in the folder: 20040905-131101-Hta2O-spldart.bin 20040905-131101-Hta2O-spldart.txt 20040906-211556-eGzMA-spldart.txt None of the other ones have done this. What does it mean? This boxen is not overclocked. |
[TA]JonB 2004-09-06 14:48:37 | Those are left over from a "send" process that failed. If you rename the ****.txt file back to "results.txt" you can send again. Of course, it will conflict with the existing results.txt file, so send it first, then rename. good luck |
[TA]JonB 2004-09-06 14:51:48 | To give a more thorough answer, you need to know the manual send (and automatic) process. It renames results.txt to a date, time and random number string followed by your ID. It is still a text file at this point. Then it compresses it into a "bin" file for faster transmission and possibly some error checking. If all goes well, all files are deleted at the end, and sendlog is updated. |
spldart 2004-09-06 15:05:11 | Thanks for the quick response Another quick question. I couldn't find a Linux version to download. Is there one still availabe? SuSE 9.1 |
[TA]JonB 2004-09-06 17:01:50 | never was one. There was talk of someone porting it, but I think all that ever happened was that they ran it in some sort of emulation mode (and it was pretty fast). No other info. |
