Muon for Linux
Well, I asked this quite some time ago: How about the linux port?  The linux versions have always been way faster and I don't like to see my boxes idle...

Is there any progress?

Linux versions
I don't have a Linux machine here to do the compiles on.  Someone (Orbi-tel) has voluntiered to have a look at the source code and see if he can port it, but it is rather bigger than the last version.  Most of the platform-specific stuff can be turned off by writing #define GRAPHICS 0 instead of 1 at the top of the program and then removing all the bits inside graphics #ifdefs.

I would recommend the United Devices project as something to do with spare machines, but they haven't released a Linux version either so far as I know.

<-- gets up and waves in the general direction of Germany for Pascal!

Target percentage MUON Version 4
I wanna know what's the target percentage of version 4 of MUON.
Or is there a specific date, when all work has to be done?

No, we have no idea how many % of the muons will get through when we start the project.  The only guidline we have is the percentage that would have got through with the "original" design before the project
started, which in the case of this optimisation is 0.9%.

The URL for it has been dropped from the main page because I've thought of some more stuff to go in it and I think it needs updating.  But it is still at this link.
