Manualsend worked fine with v4.42 but since I upgraded to v4.42a it keeps crashing.  Does anyone know what's going on?

Still having problem when I hit "F" to view Results.txt info.  Software resets.  Sending data OK now!

Don't hit F on a lattice that you don't have in your results.txt - it can't display results for that lattice if there aren't any, can it.  Also, it 'resets' - do you mean it crashes, or has to reload the results.dat?  if the latter, thats to be expected.  It did that when changing between lattices and between results files in the past.

Thanks K'Tetch for info, I'm not to good at understanding what is going on, though this is what I see, thanks.

Ok, Running viewresults.exe.
1. Shows a window loading gnomes.
2. In center of display - Move mouse left/right -Press A for advanced infomation - Press H for results history graphs - Press F to view results.txt.  ( If I have uploaded results and with no results.txt file the Press F is not displayed.
3. Right side of display - Selelct optimisation [Space bar] - >ChaicanLinacB90 - PhaseRotB - PhaseRotC - ChicaneLinacB ( The > moves with the spacebar to pick any one of the Four)
4. Press A works.
5. Press H works.
6. Hit spacebar and slect PhaseRotC or any other then Press F - Viewresults.exe crashes most of the time.
7 Restat Viewresults do #6. I show sometimes under Selelct optimisation [Space bar] Se9>D6t or Shp c s{T or J S@9>D6t or J S@9>HQ or J +V,T. or K Lu*r results.txt or just crashes.

Very odd.  When i tested it, i used a simulation not in my results.txt, it put up nothing but v4.42b where the lattice list would be.  hit F again, and it reloads the results.dat.

It might be something to do with not interpreting "zero results" for an optimisation properly.  I'll have a play with it here to see what happens.

You could try this file, I think I've fixed your problem and it contains debug code in case any others turn up.

Stephen, Still have problems with F, How do I use debug?  I see no extra files in folder.  Shall over the weekend send info on what's happening.

Ah, the window will appear behind the graphics disaply.  When it freezes, hit Ctrl-Alt-Del and then Cancel, then hit the Windows button then cancel that.  It should get you out of the graphics mode and onto the desktop where you should be able to see the error report window.

Stephen, Sorry for not getting back to you with the problem I have in viewing with viewresults.exe.
I do not have a problem with the Results.  Thought this is what I see, when I run the software!
It looks like when I hit F for the Dat or Txt there is no data displayed until I hit the spacebar.  Have not received any debug info!
I hope this helps, Boots

OK, I think I may have fixed the problem with that.  Here is a corrected version for you to test.
