| Stephen Brooks 2005-11-30 04:07:00 | I'm not an expert on lasers, though it is true that there is a strong laser group at RAL (downstairs in the building R1, I am in R2) and they have been researching inertial fusion among other things. My code would be suitable for some ion beam tracking scenarios. There was at one time an accelerator (rather than laser) -based idea for inertial fusion that required a lot of ion beams converging on a deuterium pellet target. |
