Hi,

inside the company we have a private ftp server to collect the muon results (bin-files) from a 7 computers.
We would like to know how many mpts we collected before we start flushing to one of the public servers.

is there a possibility to read out these bin files and produce these statistics?

regards,
Michel

I think this commandline utility might let you convert .bin files back into .txt files to count the Mpts.  But .bin is a binary format so it is certainly going to be difficult to read.

Erm, wait a minute, there's a commandline switch in Muon1 itself that does this too!
muon1 -bintotxt <filename>
See the commandline help from muon1 -?
