As an update, i've done 13 of my block of 30. I've put it on hold for now, to concentrate on the new mainstream lattice (i'll continue things there on that thread)

Here is the graph of the _axial3 scan so far:

Notice my 270-299 block has less variance than the rest?  It was calculated using the version 4.44e that I retracted because people complained it was "slow". Or more accurately, it was compiled with the current development source of Muon1 that I believe hasn't changed a lot since v4.44e. Soon I'm going to have to find out what changed between 'd' and 'e' (at some stage I added a more accurate collision detection routine, for instance).

Well, I'll construct the first graph in pieces and then when you have the whole set, overlay that to check they are consistent.

Just received 100-199 from the *first* scan from Eveiga - at least I know where that one went.  Mr Aldi might be better trying 200-299. The remaining gap is 950-974, which is on my laptop at home and I will add it to the graph on Monday.

I just extracted my own 950-974 scan1 results from my results.dat file because I stupidly left it running, it finished the queue and carried on doing random ones, then sent all the results.

I've done a few tests with v4.44e and compare them with the v4.44d results, but I only found a small difference.
with an average of 0.002525 higher than the "d" version is a bit higher, but not like the results of you.

Here is the excel file containing all data.

ps.  this is on the Linac900Ext10d2 lattice because the e version is realy, realy slow (860 vs 495 kpts/sec)

I guess that means v4.44e differs from my "development" version.  I've got a historical log of the source code so can look for changes between the various release dates next week.  (This may eventually lead into semi-public alpha testing come December).

More of the 2nd scan has been filled in (refresh the picture).  As Mr. Aldi says, it's noticeable that the "random" variation of the results appears to be the same, for the most part, in both lattices, so the fluctuations must come from another source than just the number of particles.

Could you send me 4.44e?  I would like to try a queue with steps of 10 (steps of 30 from 800-1000).  Then we can already see what the curve with 4.44e would look like.  If this is of interest to you.
