just downloaded one of stephens other projects.  a simple matrix style screen saver (matrixss4).  hundreds of lines of random symbols running down the screen.  but if you concentrate on the middle of the screen you can read a message saying "Tom is a beak". Id love to know myself what it means Smile

'Tom is a Beak' refers to Tom King (a member of this forum) who went to the same school as Stephen and I. The 'is a beak' bit refers to the fact that Stephen and Tom like going to feed the DUCKS and watching them quack about oddly.  See http://www.mankyhair.freeservers.com

This should be in mallards.  And the thread that has recently started in mallards, should be over here.

You are a beak now.

It doesn't make any sense: that's why they call it "virtual"

To (vaguely) return to the original topic,

...I can't help thinking that ought to read "Tom is a beak" too.

I believe Tom had a beak.  All I can really remember of him was large amounts of hair, which, to his credit, was indeed full of waterfowl, all of which possessed beaks.  To these he might indeed be forced to turn in extremity.
