The post by jahor reminded me of something.
Over appx.  the last two weeks I have run into several problems with one particular server (cgmuonftp.homelinux.org).
Not sure if this is only with my results, but it does seem that way.
1) On two occasions the server went down within minutes after my results were sent.
a)The first time, mine were apparently the only results on the server.
b)The second time, there were appx.  20 others before or after mine in the que.  On that occasion, the server was back up later in the day but my results were not up-loaded until the next day while all others passed through the site.
2)On another occasion, the results were sent (20030620-130138 68 results sent to cgmuonftp.homelinux.org) and remained on the que nearly all day while others passed through.  This particular batch was eventually included in the stats as 67 results- 0.00Mpts.

Not sure why these problems occured or if any others were affected, but it did not appear to be the case.  No problems at all with any other servers.  The server has been removed from my servers.csv file, so it won't be a future problem.  None of the results sent had been tweaked or altered in any way.  On those occasions, I was running some lower percentage high-yield results trying to build them up and they were all randomly generated.  I was really just curious whether there was a some type of conflict between my results and the server or just a random occurence.  It did seem as though mine were the only ones affected, but I may be wrong.

Sorry to hear you had these problems with my server.
Problems 1. a and b probably happened because our ISP had problems with dsl connections some time ago, and our internet connection was dropped unexpectedly several times.

Problem 2
Your results were uploaded at
[20/Jun/2003:16:02:35 +0300] "STOR 20030620-130138-RQxCV-Pollock[Romulus2].txt" 226 69015
and next flush didn't happen until after some time, at
[21/Jun/2003:03:28:54 +0300] "RETR v4.31c/20030620-130138-RQxCV-Pollock[Romulus2].txt" 226 69015
At the same time, about 20 other results were flushed out too, so I don't think this problem was anyway specific to you, but rather was problem with either Stephen's flush script or problem with internet connections.  Why these results didn't add Mpts I don't know, maybe Stephen could see what was wrong with them.

Thanks, Henri,

It just seemed that whenever I sent them, the server shut down within minutes.  Wanted to make sure my results were not somehow causing a problem.  I am not concerned about the points.  There was nothing special sent that day.  The delays are not really important to me, either.  I just wanted to be sure I was not causing them.  Smile

Here we go again!

I recently re-installed the v4.31c on my machine which refreshed the servers.csv file.
Next day, this was sent:
20030703-122924 44 results sent to cgmuonftp.homelinux.org
The file was apparently recieved and flushed from the server within two hours.  No problem, there.

Before:
updated 2003-Jul-03; 11:53
47. Pollock[Romulus2] 6156 911805.0 15.242820 20
After:
updated 2003-Jul-03; 14:57
47. Pollock[Romulus2] 6199 911805.0 15.242820 2

Obviously, the file was recieved and credited with 43 results-0.00Mpts.  This was one of the results included in that file which obviously was not recieved correctly:
15.260438 (1703.8 Mpts) [v4.31c] {C1D09D45}
There were a few others which would have been better than the 15.242820 shown in the stats.  I am not particularly concerned with the stats, but trying to understand whether my results are somehow recieved as being corrupted, etc.
Due to the previous problems, I carefully check the results.txt file before sending to be sure there are no bad line breaks etc. and this one was no different than any others.
