Looking at the results.dat file, I noticed what you describe in the FAQ as result rot.  You recommend that the result.dat file should be deleted, but would going in and manually purging the corrupted data cause any trouble?  I'd hate to have the program start from scratch and waste all the data that is in that file since it uses the results.dat file to help try and improve the newest results.

The last few days this did not happen to my clients any more.  I don't know the reason for that.  Perhaps do you?

I've always suspected it's because results.dat somehow gets corrupted by having extra lines added to it, but it could be some other bug in the program.

The bug is still there in v4.11, as I mentioned in another thread.  Did anyone else see it?
