Hi All,

I have a problem i hope someone can help me with.
I have Muon 4.41b running at work and due to network setup, port 21 is blocked.
So i e-mail the results.txt file home and upload it from there.  that has worked well for a while but a problem has developed.
Now whenever i try to send the results from home, i get all these checksum errors and it only procees a cuople of results and i loose a weeks worth of work.
Does any one know what would be causing the checksum errors?
My upload dir at home is not a working version and is only used for uploading my work results.
Also i have tried to use XeonX's Websender but it wont work at work, i think due to proxy issues.

Thank for any help.

You need to have the lattices subdirectory at home with all the relevant files in it, so the checksum routine can also check the contents of those against the checksums in the file.

[edit] And actually more recently, I've added something whereby you need to have every file that the lattices reference as well (so pi_plus2g2ev.csv or whatever it is, and the fieldmaps l2y0.txt l2y5.txt etc.).

Thanks for the reply Stephen.
I think ill just e-mail the whole directory to home, upload and then send it back.

I run zonealarm, and I get that hanging in the ftp after >put bigfilename.bin
if I turn zonealarm off it works, or send it manually
(actually using ftp -script.ftp works, don't know why it doesn't work when muon calls it...)

I have the same problem here with zonealarm, I get a timeout when trying to manually upload.

How can I solve the problem ?

Have the same problem.  But i checked it with another (my own) FTP server it that also didn't work.

My problem is probably that the local admin disabled some FTP options within the ??proxy / gateway ??  Dont really know what the problem is..

Is there a short HowTo-Send-your-results somewhere?  A step-by-step guide to the email-your-results-and-upload-by-hand sort of thing?

Some help would indeed be appreciated!
