GOD 2011-09-29 16:14:40 | as its tevatron collider goes dark fermilab ponders a muon rich future Probably old news for Stephen, but may be interesting to others. Cheers. [Edited by GOD at 2011-09-29 16:19:06] |
K`Tetch 2011-09-29 18:45:12 | I read that piece last night, and sent Mr Timmins an email about Muon1... From what I see, Fermilab are now potentially at the point that the RAL was 10 years ago |
Stephen Brooks 2011-10-03 18:57:14 | Project X's parameters were a bit weird for driving the neutrino factory last time I saw them. I mean, they could do it, but they had to put 1 or 2 extra rings on the end of their proton accelerator to form short bunches (which you'd have anyway from a synchrotron like in the RAL option). |
