Er Stephen,

Seen the two recent stats updates but haven't seen any updates for myself.  I punted a large file of results to your original ftp server yesterday morning using the original manualsend.exe - is this a case of not having extracted the data from there as yet?

If not (and the results have gone astray), is there a preferred alternative ftp server which gets polled more often as I have a copy of the results.txt file so could re-send if required.

Cheers
Dave

I got all the files off the old FTP server when I said that (there will be newer ones on there now).  I also flushed all the other FTPs (and will be doing that on a regular basis hopefully from now on).

I've "touched" the files of those 3 who are complaining so the thing will do a full re-count and repeat-check of your accounts next time the stats are generated.

(edit [to self] switch task scheduler back on you fool).

(ZeonX's server seems to let me delete files properly now).

--[don't know wich server, i used the new manualsend.]--

Try looking in "sendlog.txt"...

My mistake smile

I checked the stats earlier and saw that Blummi's stats was updated while SlipStream's and mine were not...so I assume that results were lost.

should have checked the stats again before I made the post..

So are the statsrun on an hourly basis again now?

I'm flushing the new servers every hour now, yes.  Remember if you think results really have gone missing (they haven't showed up 2 or 3 updates after you sent them), the manualsend does at least produce a log-file so you can see what server they went to.  I currently don't _have_ the login information for andrey.mine.ru (I've asked him for it), so if your results go there it might be a couple days yet before they get though.  Actually, for now I'll move him into the "pending approval" list until I know I can D/L. (The "pending approval" list didn't exist when he initially signed up).

Stephan are you flushing the old FTP also.....?

like you just did?

because i'm still using the old one.

also on hourly base because i think it isn't flooded anymore right now

I'd prefer people to use the new ones.  I'll flush the old one occasionally (like every 3 days).  Maybe at some stage when it appears to have calmed down on there I'll add it to the list for multi-server-send.

Okey Doke, that answers that question smile My sendlog.txt file says andrey.mine.nu and not .ru though.

The lost results.txt is on andrey.mine.ru
I've sent it a secondtime and now the stats are o.k.

Stephen,

As an fyi, I still haven't seen an update to my numbers despite the fact that the main stats page shows a 'last update' against me of only a few hours ago.

I plan to resend that file using the new manualsend.exe so, if I suddenly see a massive (doubled) increase, I'll let you.

Cheers
Dave

Edit: I uploaded 353 results to the server at cgmuonftp.homelinux.org at 17:01 so I'll check again after 18:00 to see what becomes of them.

Dave,
There was a problem (xmkd not allowed to users, only mkd) on my ftp server, cgmuonftp.homelinux.org at the time you tried to upload, so your results were not received.
The problem is fixed now.
No other results were lost as you were the first one actually using my server.  I tried flushing only with Linux version of manualsend which used the mkd command instead and I didn't see the problem then.
Sorry for any troubles caused.

Henri,

Thanks for the info.  I'll re-send those results when I get into work tomorrow.

Cheers
Dave
