Cameron 2007-11-21 01:51:17 | With the Recent release of PhaseRotEby5 and PhaseRotEby6 and the expectation that PhaseRotEby5 may shortly overtake the best result of DecayRotB (Despite PhaseRotEby5 possible flaw) I was wondering which lattices we should be working on? |
Stephen Brooks 2007-11-21 10:24:41 | The default behaviour of the client is to work on all of the lattices in equal proportion (of number of simulations, not necessarily CPU time). I'm running both the E5 and E6 in parallel deliberately to test if my suspicions on which will work better are right. DecayRotB I'm leaving in there in case someone makes a breakthrough, but once one of the others has overtaken there's a likelihood I will remove it so all the work can concentrate on the new ones. On the other hand, if you have decided that a certain lattice looks promising you can make your clients only work on it if you want. |
