Hi,
erm ... I recognized that the tantalumrodr of a large group of results is 0!  What does that physically mean?  I think this means that there is no rod ... strange!?

All variables represent magnet-strenght values at different locations in the accelerator.  0 is just a minimum value and 999 is a maximum value.

Iirc, 0 = -4T and 999 = 4T.

tantalumrodr is the rotation angle of the rod.  000 is parallel to the solenoid channel, and I think 999 is about 0.45 radians (~25 degrees) tilted.

Some earlier neutrino factory simulations suggested the tilted rod was better, but now I think the straight rod is better, now that we've taken into account more of what will be downstream.

Oh, that's new for me.  I thought that the r stands for radius ... thank's for the explanation!  My fault ...
