Hi, it seems that when shifting to v4.4 i lost a lot of results.  Before the shift i had around 5 Tpts and now the score is around 5 Gpts - could look like a reset.

Any ideas what could have happened ?

Stephen is working on the issue.  Be sure to post a URL to your stats before they were hosed.

Thanks [TA]z, I can tell ya, i felt pretty lost when i checked my stats on Stephens site.  My pulse climbed to the hihg 90's just for a moment.

Still sleepy after watching our royal wedding the whole day.

A lot of the stats are missing from the stats section.  Even if we are active, the stats have disappeared, which has resulted in USD going from 2nd place to 6th place, as all members but one have been dropped from the stats page.

I admit, currently I'm not running muon1. But I just looked at the stats and I noticed that DPC has only 23 members.  Something's fishy...

I also lost 700,000Mpts I dumped on Friday

I've just taken the stats off for some maintenance this morning, and it looks like there was an error in the way it handles new users, meaning over the weekend it may well have been uploading incomplete files with people missing.  We'll have to see how it goes with the bug fixed.

Yes, that's because I hadn't added a fix for you.  I've done that now, it should be in the stats shortly.

I now believe I've fixed the main source of the "bad" error where results were getting rejected by checksum and deleted.

does this mean the results submitted are lost for good?

Hmmz.  My name is in the simplestats.txt, but not in the stats on the main page.

Yes, that's why I'm just adding the Mpts back on for those that were lost.

My interpretation of the stats removes people after 1000 hours of inactivity (helps to remove the 'dead wood', no offense Razz and keeps things clear).  Other Muon stats you see won't do this.  Submit some more results and you'll magically reappear with all your points.

Looks like the stats weren't updating for a few hours last night, as I've made it wait for my input when it tries to delete a large amount from a file.  So when a user submitted a lot of duplicates it paused indefinitely, until I got back.

Well there was no duplicates in the results I sent in and it has been nearly a week so I am going to gatehr all the results.dat files from those machines and send them in and you DB can deal with any duplicates from there, but these machines have always worked offline and never had results submitted so it shouldn't be a problem.  Is it ok to have 4.34 and 4.4 results in the same results.txt and also send 4.34 using the 4.4 manualsend

Yes, that ought to work.

Dead wood?
Well, then I'll go water myself when V4.41 comes out.  See if some of the wood near the root is still alive.

In fact I've previously tried to submit v4.34 results using v4.4 client and and got lots of results rejected due to checksum errors so I moved it back to the v4.34 client and submitted them without problem.
