| De Bug 2002-10-31 08:08:43 | I wonder can the best results of the earlier project version (the one before chicane was introduced), can these results be used in the version with chicane. I somehow think that the problems with the current versions are due to the bug in the chicane part of the code (and there is nothing to do with the cheating). One more idea - could the genetic randomization algorithm be applied to the chicane part only ? In this way we could take the best results from the previous project versions without chicane and then apply their modifications to the chicane part. By the way - new results could be generated much faster. Slight modification of the idea - why not generate the first part result fix it at the point where particles start to get into chicane and rerun the result from this place multiple times changing chicane configuration? -- Debugas |
